IRISH LANGUAGE COURSE FOR
BEGINNERS

Course Objectives:
Learn the basics of the language and some of the necessary grammar/vocabulary rules to effectively speak the language.
Converse using the basics of the language and develop their Irish speaking skills to the point that the learners will be able to describe themselves and their lives in Irish, freely and fluently.
To incorporate an aspect of fun to the learning process wherein, learning the language is more of a treat than a chore.
Aims of the course:
To develop an international appreciation of the Irish language.
To dispel the preconceived notion that Irish is a very difficult language to learn.
To give people the opportunity to reconnect with their Irish heritage, or if the case may be that they have no previous affiliation with Ireland of her culture, create one through the Irish language.

Who is the course aimed at:
People who would like to learn the language and for one reason or another didn’t have the opportunity.
People who want to strengthen their Irish connection and culture.
People who simply want to upskill by acquiring a new language.
Tourists who would appreciate an opportunity to learn the basics of the “Gaelic” language to enable them to ask basic questions and speak simple native Irish while on a trip to Ireland.
Anyone who wants to be able to say that they can speak Irish, regardless of their ability of level.
